OVERVIEW
The Solar 4XS+ is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some high performance, W speed rated sizes as well.
The tire provides great all season traction. The asymmetric tread design and the tire compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. They maintain a firm grip on the road surface, while the compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The special tread design features wide circumferential and angled grooves that resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced controllability and all season traction boost the year round driving experience.
The constant road contact enhances the model’s controllability. The two narrow center ribs and the large shoulder tread blocks keep the tire’s road contact at all times, enhancing the steering responsiveness, driving stability, and cornering capability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise, while the tire’s structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The shoulder tread blocks heighten the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface and boost the cornering ability and power. The upgraded controllability ensures a safer all season performance.
The 4XS+ offers a comfortable driving experience. The optimized tire footprint enables the tire to closely follow the road surface. The close road contact absorbs the shock of driving while the tires are in motion, offering a lower level of road vibration. The result is an enjoyable, vibration free drive.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
