Evolved bread modes allow you to pour a teaspoon of water into the top opening to form a thin layer of steam that envelops the bread, creating the perfect crust while keeping the inside tender and moist. The innovative appliance now adds Salamander Grill Mode to its countertop-oven capabilities, so you can brown gratins and lasagna, or give seafood a crispy finish with a high-temperature upper flame.
- Revolutionary toaster technology uses steam to lock in moisture and flavor in all types of bread.
- Salamander Grill Mode applies high-temperature upper flame to surface of food – similar to commercial salamander broilers in restaurants and hotel kitchens.
- Specialized modes include Shokupan Mode (new feature designed for Japanese milk bread and perfect for fluffy, white loaves), Golden Toast Mode (for bagels), Pizza Mode and Croissant Mode.
