OVERVIEW
The Venom Power Covert Grip CV is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Venom Power offers 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire.
Venom Power covers this tire model and size with its 1-year Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty is available for tires damaged within the first 12 months after the purchase date, or until the first 3/32” of the tire tread wears away, whichever comes first! If this tire sustains road hazard damage (typically caused by nails, glass, or potholes) on its tread area, customers have a right to use the Road Hazard warranty for a Tire Replacement or Tire Repair. To receive the Road Hazard warranty, customers with damaged tires must file a claim with Priority Tire.
The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. The ideal tread design and the compound work together to boost dry, wet, and winter-weather road grip. The all season compound keeps its flexible traction even in colder temperatures, while the detailed tread design finds a firm road grip. The wide circumferential and numerous lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning, by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. In this manner, the model ensures a safe year-round driving experience.
Great performance and handling are offered with this tire. The superb footprint stability of the tread design maintains surface contact at all times. This effectively enhances steering responsiveness and driving stability. Quick and precise steering responses are guaranteed, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The symmetric pattern also enhances cornering and braking abilities. Cornering is upgraded with the shoulder block placement’s extra biting edges. On the other hand, the ideal road contact creates friction when stopping, boosting its braking capability.
The model also promotes great high speed performance. The ideal tread design closely follows the road surface even at high speeds and prevents pressure accumulation, while the robust internal structure maintains the optimal tire shape under driving pressure. Also, the heat-resistant compound protects the tire from heat build-up along the tread area, further optimizing the tire’s high speed durability.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
