OVERVIEW
The Double Coin RT500 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles, made to be mounted on trailer positions. This model has some trailer and light truck sizes as well.
The tire offers great all weather traction. The five-rib tread pattern, with the optimal tread design, and the all weather tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread’s ribbed pattern upgrades the year round gripping capability as the siping detail creates extra biting edges. The special all season compound maintains its flexibility throughout the year, including in colder temperatures, and prevents weather damage from harming the casing. The model’s wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all season tire compound increase the year round driving safety.
The model’s pattern enhances its controllability in all conditions. The five-rib tread pattern upgrades the tire’s road contact and improves steering responsiveness and driving stability with it. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The closed shoulder pattern enhances the cornering capability as well, by increasing the number of biting edges firmly gripping the road surface during cornering and maneuvering.
The tire provides a longer lasting tread life. The durable tire compound and the tread design work together to extend the tread life and usability. The compound slows the tread wear rate down significantly, with its wear-resistance. The ribbed tread pattern improves the tread life by preventing the formation of irregular wear across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthens the tread life and usability.
The RT500 has exceptional durability. The internal structure’s reinforced steel belts improve the driving and load durability by preventing the deformation of the tire’s optimal shape. The maintained tire shape enables the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads and to perform to its utmost capability with ease, which upgrades the year round performing capability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
