OVERVIEW
The Epic Tour A/S Radial LL821 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. It has some high performance sizes as well.
The tread design upgrades the all weather traction. The all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design enhance the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. This combination increases the year round performance. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility throughout the year, while the tread elements increase the grip with additional biting edges. The tread design’s circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water from below the footprint, further increasing the wet and winter weather grip.
The symmetric ribbed tread design upgrades the controllability. The symmetric ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface at all times, which increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tread’s shoulder block placement increases the cornering and maneuvering ability by providing extra biting edges throughout the drive.
The Tour A/S Radial LL821 improves the length of the tread life. The tread design and the all season compound work together to increase the usability. The tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations. The compound keeps the rubber flexible with the durable tread elements to enhance the strength of the tread, avoiding premature wear along the tire’s surface. As a result, the tire promotes a longer lasting usability.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
