OVERVIEW
The Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for racing vehicles.
This tire offers excellent and safe high speed durability. This is achieved with the advanced pressure distribution tread design, the polymer compound blend, and the reinforced internal structure. Its optimized pattern and durable rubber materials enable the tire to prevent heat build-up along the tread area. On the other hand, the construction does not deform under high speed pressure. Their combination enables the tire’s secure performance, making it perfect for racing applications.
The asymmetric tread design features an optimized road contact, which upgrades its controllability and maneuvering. The low-angle grooves maximize the road contact patch, ensuring the tire’s road contact throughout the performance. It helps to greatly increase steering responsiveness and driving stability, even during its high speed applications. The special slick outside shoulder pattern provides extra biting edges to enhance its cornering capability. The maximum grip polymer compound and the ideal contact patch generate friction when braking, which effectively shortens its stopping distance.
The Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS offers a great summer weather grip. The heat-resistant polymer compound and the minimalistic asymmetric tread design work together to boost dry and wet traction. Stronger rubber materials actively avoid heat build-up along the tread area, while the ribbed pattern and low-angle grooves’ road contact optimize traction. Additionally, the main groove placement enables the tire’s exceptional hydroplaning resistance on wet roads, further boosting its wet-weather performance.
