OVERVIEW

The Farroad FRD86 is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. The model also has some commercial van sizes available.

The tire promotes exceptional all terrain performance. The tread design’s large tread blocks, optimal siping detail and open shoulder pattern, along with the upper sidewalls detailed design work together to increase the soft, loose and uneven terrain surface traction. In this manner, the tire has superb versatility as it performs well both on- and off-road. The tread’s wide footprint and upper sidewall design improve its forward motion even in deeper mud and loose dirt. The wide grooves and staggered tread blocks manage to maintain a clean footprint. They eliminate mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. As a result, the tire’s footprint is never blocked from its contact with the road and terrain surface, while the tire actively resists stone retention from harming the tire’s casing.

The model offers superb all weather traction. The semi-asymmetric tread design and the all season tire compound enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The tire compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread elements, with the optimal siping detail, firmly grip the road surface throughout the year. The wide circumferential and lateral grooves and open shoulder design enhance the hydroplaning resistance. They disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint and boost the hydroplaning resistance in wet and winter weather road conditions. The FRD86 is easily controlled all year. The flat footprint and the optimal tread block placement’s constant road contact improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model.
