This tread design closely follows the road surface, while the all season compound maintains its flexibility throughout the year. At the same time, wide circumferential grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint and prevent hydroplaning. This guarantees the tires’ safe performance even in wet situations.
The optimal tread design and its road contact improve controllability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Wide shoulder blocks firmly grip the road surface with additional biting edges, increasing cornering and maneuvering. On the other hand, the siping detail and the close road contact shorten the braking distance, by creating friction at the moment of stopping. These elements boost the driver’s control over the vehicle, even during its high speed performance.
The Vitour Galaxy R1 Radial G/T offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The tread generates a noise-canceling frequency that decreases road noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin.
