OVERVIEW
The Ameritread Total Comfort is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some high performance sizes available as well. Ameritread offers a 50,000 mile warranty for this model.
The model’s symmetric tread elements maintain surface contact. This improves the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability, ensuring better control for the driver. Faster, more precise steering responses are guaranteed, while the structure is protected against driving pressure. Additionally, its cornering and braking performance is significantly improved. This is achieved through the shoulder block’s siping placement and the tread’s friction during braking.
The ideal tread design and the all season tire compound work together to boost dry, wet, and winter-weather road grip. The all season compound keeps its flexible traction even in colder temperatures, while the detailed tread design finds a firm road grip. The wide circumferential and numerous lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. In this manner, the model ensures a safe year-round driving experience.
The optimized tire footprint spreads driving pressure equally across the tread area. The even distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking prevents irregular wear across the tread area. As a result, the ideal tread pattern is resistant to uneven tread wear as it increases the tire’s driving stability. The improved stability, the slower wearing tread, and the prevention of uneven wear combined extend the tire’s usability.
The Ameritread Total Comfort’s ideal tread design and its close contact with the driving surface lower road and tread noise levels heard in the vehicle’s cabin. Since road disturbances cannot ruin the passenger’s driving enjoyment, the tire delivers quiet performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
