- 240 Hub is lighter, stiffer, more precise and easier to maintain than previous versions
- Ratchet EXP is the lightest freehub system from DT Swiss
- Increased bearing distance increases bearing lifetime
- Straight spring provides more direct engagement, which reduces wear
- Fusion of the ratchet and threaded ring reduces the number of single parts in the system, further reducing the weight
- 36 points of engagement offer a great balance of performance and weight savings
- Full engagement of the ratchets creates a large contact surface and therefore low surface pressure that leads to excellent reliability
- Featuring an incorporated notch, the newly developed shape of the end caps simplifies disassembly for maintenance
- Rear hubs featuring the SRAM XD freehub standard are compatible with both 11- and 12-speed cassettes
