Most KVM switches offer VGA or DVI switching, but they don’t work as well for higher-resolution systems. The StarTech.com SV231HDMIUA offers both HDMI and USB switching to allow high-definition digital video and plug-and-play peripherals. This two-port switch also handles audio to allow switching between two multimedia computers. The port selection is controlled by keyboard hotkeys or buttons on the switch, and the switch has a video adjustment button as well.
