Description
Built to be light, this Ortovox ski touring pack with a LiTRIC avalanche airbag system keeps weight to a minimum. It’s designed for everything from quick laps to multiday outings.
Features
- Ortovox used particularly lightweight but scuff-resistant materials to keep weight down to a minimum
- LiTRIC, the electronic airbag system, is lightweight, reliable and easy to use
- Electronic system can be fully charged in approximately 25 min. via USB-C; activation can be tested any number of times at no additional cost
- The lack of a cartridge means more space, no weighing necessary, no cartridge disposal and no travel limitations
- The design is clever down to the smallest detail: Supercapacitors are used instead of cartridges and the airbag is ultralight, making the system one of the lightest available
- System is especially easy to use; from charging and the LED display to the activation handle, airbag packing and the leg loop, LiTRIC AVABAGS are intuitive to operate
- 1 charge enables at least 2 activations
- When switched on, its operation time is approximately 60 hrs., which allows for multiday tours with no need for recharging
- Operating temperature ranges from -22°F to 113°F (-30°C to 45°C)
- Just one BASE can be used to attach various sizes of AVABAG LiTRIC Tour and FREERIDE Zip attachments (not included), each tailored to their intended use
- The Zip is designed in such a way that, when combined, the base and the various packs merge to form a single unit
- The BASE comprises a back element and airbag system and sits comfortably thanks to the Full Contact Light back system
- Stowaway bag can be completely opened up thanks to its circumferential zipper and is equipped with all of the features you need on a tour
- Emergency equipment can be stowed in a separate safety compartment
- Hydration system compatible (hydration reservoir included)
- Chest strap with signal whistle
- D-Skifix diagonal ski attachment
- Snowboard and snowshoe holder
- Ice axe and hiking pole loops
- Rope attachment
- Helmet net
- Safety leg strap
- Compression strap
- Bright inside
- Emergency card
- Small map compartment
- Key holder
- All products in the AVABAG LiTRIC Tour line are PFC-free
- Registering the system on the Ortovox website will extend its warranty from 2 to 5 years
- Note: An avalanche airbag system does not guarantee survival in an avalanche; educate yourself, make good decisions and know before you go
