OVERVIEW

The Dunlop Enasave 01 A/S (OE) is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model is the original equipment tire of select vehicles.

The tire provides exceptional all weather traction. The special silica-based tire compound and the tread design work together to ensure first-rate dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps its flexibility all year, while the tread design with the optimized sipe and the independent tread block placement finds firm grip in all weather. The wide circumferential and lateral grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced traction and hydroplaning resistance guarantee a secure year round performance.

The silica-enhanced tire compound promotes a fuel efficient driving experience. The silica compound decreases the tire’s overall weight which eases the driving pressure off its structure and lowers the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the force on the tires that determines the vehicle’s energy usage to keep them in motion. The lessened rolling resistance decreases the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, ensuring a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience. The reduced rolling resistance also manages to slow the tread wear rate down, offering an extended tread life and tire usability.

The tire’s controllability is ensured with its constant road contact. The symmetric tread design’s constant road contact upgrades the driving stability and the cornering capability. The independent shoulder tread blocks keep their road contact and increase the number of biting edges that grip the road surface during cornering and maneuvering. This improves the cornering ability and power, ensuring a safer driving experience. The constant road contact manages to stabilize the tire’s structure against the driving pressure affecting it, ensuring great driving stability. The specialized aramid reinforced bead decreases the sidewall stiffness, which enhances the tire’s steering responsiveness to the driver’s commands. The Enasave 01 A/S (OE) features a reinforced internal structure, which includes the Jointless Band technology that strengthens the twin steel belts with spirally wrapped polyamide and a polyester cord casing. The stronger steel belts optimize the tire’s structure and prevent deformation under the driving pressure affecting the tires. The maintained optimal tire structure ensures exceptional performance in all weather. The polyester cord casing allows the tire to closely follow the road surface and absorb the shock of driving. This results in the decreased road vibration levels, that provide a comfortable and enjoyable drive.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
