Get wet or dry weather traction, long miles, and sharp performance with the ExtremeContact DW tire from Continental. The ExtremeContact DW features an asymmetric tread design with circumferential grooves to resist hydroplaning, chamfered tread blocks, and a continuous, outboard notched intermediate rib for steering response and cornering stability. Notched shoulder blocks at the intermediate outboard rib and shoulder aid in wet-weather traction, and Continental’s Tuned Performance Indicators alert a driver to excessive tread wear. A visible “DW” means the tire is good for dry or wet weather, a visible “W” means it’s safe for wet weather and a visible “D” means the tire has worn to a point where it’s only good for dry conditions.
