Michelin’s XZE is an all position commercial tire that’s designed for regional and long haul applications in addition to coach and bus uses. Finding an all position tire that’s built to last and offers consistent performance is a must for most drivers. Fortunately, Michelin built the XZE with these drivers in mind as it features an anti-cut and chip rubber compound that promotes a longer tread life along with solid shoulders that resist tearing and accelerated wear. The XZE features miniature groove wall sipes that improve traction, and a groove bottom protector that protects the tire from stone drilling. Way back in 1899, Michelin patented the first clincher-style pneumatic bicycle tire, which was soon used to win the first long-distance cycle race from Paris to Brest. Currently, Michelin is part of the Fortune Global 500, with a worldwide presence and 34 manufacturing plants. Along the way, Michelin patented the first-ever run-flat tire in 1933, the first-ever radial tire design in the 1940s, the first-ever steel-belted tire, and the famed Michelin Guide along the way for dining came along. Today, Michelin is the parent company to Uniroyal and BFGoodrich, with a massive engagement in motorsports and a variety of tires for passenger cars, light trucks/SUVs, and commercial and ag applications.
