OVERVIEW
The Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S is a high performance summer tire manufactured for racing vehicles. This model is a DOT approved racing tire.
The tire promotes great summer traction. The directional tread design and the durable R-compound work together to increase the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The treads groove placement and enlarged surface contact area heighten the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are in motion. The racing-compound, on the other hand, actively prevents heat build-up along the tread area, keeping the tire cool during the drive. The two circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water from below the footprint and maintain the surface contact to improve the wet traction. This combination guarantees a safer summer weather performance.
The tread design also boosts the models high speed controllability. The treads enlarged surface contact area and optimal tread design increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
