OVERVIEW
The Atturo Trail Blade Boss is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks. This model is not DOT approved.
The model offers excellent mud terrain traction. The tread pattern features large, kukri style knife shaped tread blocks, both on the center tread and the tire’s sidewalls, the large lugs and the high void ratio increase the grip the tire has on the terrain surface. These tread elements enable the tire to firmly grip the soft and loose off-road terrain surface. In this manner, the tire guarantees a secure driving experience, which upgrades the all weather traction. The large tread elements increase the number of biting edges, while the shoulder knife-styled pattern improves the side traction to ensure the tire’s forward motion in deep mud and soft dirt. The better traction ensures a safer off-road performance.
The tread design manages to maintain the tire’s terrain contact at all times. The staggered tread block pattern and the high void ratio successfully disperse mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. These tread elements prevent snow and mud from packing into the grooves and blocking the tire’s contact with the road surface. They also avoid stone retention from drilling rocks into the tire’s casing and damaging it. The better terrain contact enhances the year round performance and driving stability on rugged terrain surfaces.
The Trail Blade Boss provides great load durability. The reinforced steel belt and internal ply structure and sidewall construction increase the tire’s load carrying and withstanding capacity. They optimize the tire’s shape against the driving and load pressure affecting the model. This allows the tire to prevent the deformation under these forces, which improves its performance on off-road terrain conditions and ensures a safer drive.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
