Michelin Defender LTX M/S 305/45R22 118H XL OVERVIEW The Michelin Defender LTX M/S is an all-season specially designed to provide drivers with extended treadwear, comfort, and year-round traction. Ideal for light trucks, sports utility vehicles, commercial vans, shuttles, and chassis cab vehicles, the Michelin Defender LTX M/S features a highly functional tread pattern molded with Michelin’s Evertread compound, which is a strong compound made to handle tough conditions. The design consists of independent tread blocks with high-density 3-D Active Sipes to provide traction on all weather conditions, even the extreme ones. To evacuate water efficiently and improve wet traction and braking are the four circumferential channels, open shoulder slots, and multiple lateral grooves. The treadwear of the Michelin Defender LTX M/S is also longer as it features the MaxTouch Construction which produces a contact patch that promotes even distribution of pressure during acceleration, braking, and cornering. Further enhancing its durability is the twin steel belts found in the tire’s internal structure.
