Michelin’s Performance Winter and Snow tire, the Pilot Alpin PA4, was created developed for drivers of ultra-high performance sports cars, sedans or coupes delivering secure driving year after year in cold, wet and wintry conditions. Utilizing Michelin’s Green X branding, the Pilot Alpin PA4 has eco-focused manufacturing methods and enhancing vehicle fuel economy through low rolling resistance. The Alpin PA4 is able to remain more flexible in low temperatures for better traction in cold conditions thanks to the silica-based, sunflower oil-enriched Helio Compound that is molded into an asymmetric tread design and features a heavily grooved tread pattern. Michelin’s high-density Stabiligrip 3D sipe technology and wrap-around shoulder designs to enhance acceleration, braking and handling. Internally, the PA4 has twin steel belts reinforced by Michelin’s FAZ technology that delivers confident handling, a stable feel and high-speed ability with a comfortable ride.
