Their relatively slim, molded plug connections allow the Winds to readily mate with just about any piece of equipment, including electronics and subwoofers that use recessed AC inlets. Like its Wind Series siblings, Blizzard and Silver Cloud, Monsoon incorporates the two crucial AudioQuest design features that allow the Storm Series models to dramatically outperform all previous AudioQuest AC cables: ZERO-Tech for uncompressed current transfer and RF/ND-Tech, which minimizes circuit misbehavior by cancelling induced RF noise. Of course, tried-and-true AudioQuest technologies are also present in the Wind Series. Monsoon features high-purity conductor metals (a finessed combination of AudioQuest’s Semi-Solid True-Concentric Perfect-Surface Copper+ and Long-Grain Copper) that have been carefully controlled for directionality to drain RF noise away from where it would cause the most harm.
