OVERVIEW
The Continental CrossContact LX25 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional vehicles. Continental offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with V speed rated tires and 70,000 mile tread life warranty with H and T speed rated model.
The detailed tread elements are able to consistently follow the driving surface, enhancing the overall handling ability and driving stability of the vehicle. The ribbed tread design with sipe and notch placement all over the tread area provides a high number of biting edges to the driving surface. The tire responds faster and more precisely to the driver’s instructions, enabling them to maintain a phenomenal control over the vehicle all the time.
This model utilizes its durable compound materials and special tread design to promote a phenomenal tread life and usability. These compound materials are able to avoid premature wear formations by slowing down the overall treadwear rate. The specially designed footprint balances out load and driving pressure across the tread area in order to avoid irregular wear formations. In this manner, the tire guarantees a longer tread life.
The Continental CrossContact LX25 is excellent at performing on dry, wet, and snowy road surfaces thanks to its detailed tread elements. The sipe and notch pattern boost the overall traction throughout the year, while the compound materials optimize rubber flexibility in both high and low temperature conditions. The circumferential and lateral grooves eject water and slush from the footprint, preventing them from coming in between the tread and road surface. It actively resists the risk of hydroplaning on wet and snowy road surfaces.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
