• Longer lasting tread life

OVERVIEW

The Crosswind 4X4 HP is a performance and high performance, depending on the specific tire’s speed rating, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire offers first-rate all weather traction. The ribbed tread pattern manages to find firm grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread pattern’s hydroplaning resistance further improves the all season performance. The wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint and prevent hydroplaning by maintaining constant road contact. The increased hydroplaning prevention and all weather traction work together to ensure a safer year round driving experience.

The tread design guarantees a secure performance. Even at high speeds the tire is easily controlled thanks to its constant road contact. The tread’s center rib keeps the tire’s road contact at all times, which upgrades its steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tires. The shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges that firmly grip the road surface during cornering, which boosts the maneuvering capability and power.

The optimized road contact lengthens the tread life. The ribbed tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. This equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread life by preventing irregular tread wear formations across the tread area. The longer lasting even tread life increases the tire’s usability significantly, making it more cost efficient.

The 4X4 HP provides a quiet drive. The shoulder pattern features a variable pitch sequence that negates the road noise levels. It generates a sound frequency that cancels the soundwaves out during the drive. In this manner, the tire offers an enjoyable and comfortable performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
