OVERVIEW
The Dextero DHT2 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. This model has some touring, passenger vehicle sizes as well. Dextero offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with P-metric sizes of this model.
The model guarantees superb all weather traction and road gripping ability. The tread design features a higher density siping detail that grips onto the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. This ensures a safer year round driving experience. The driving safety is further improved with the wide circumferential grooves that actively resist hydroplaning situations by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint.
The tire’s excellent controllability is ensured with the maintained road contact. The tread pattern’s three center ribs are constantly in contact with the road surface which increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This upgrades the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s instructions and secures the tire against the driving pressure affecting it. The tire’s maneuverability and cornering capability are also increased. The tread pattern’s shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges that firmly grip the road in such situations to ensure a first-rate performance and driving safety.
The DHT2 offers a quiet and comfortable drive. The tread design’s constant road contact allows the tire to closely follow the road surface, which lowers the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin. The symmetric tread pattern also reduces the road noise by channeling the soundwaves through the tire’s footprint without letting them come into contact with the tread elements. The lowered road vibrations and road noise promote an enjoyable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
