The Dunlop SP Sport 7000 A/S high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger and performance vehicles.
The special tread pattern features a multi-radius design that improves the tire’s all weather road gripping ability. The tread pattern promotes excellent dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The circumferential grooves and the lateral notches actively disperse water and slush from below the tire footprint, enhancing the wet weather traction and the hydroplaning prevention. This ensures a safe driving experience all year.
The tire offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The special five-pitch tread design lowers the road noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin. It cancels out the road noise while the tires are in motion. This is achieved by the variable pitch creating a sound frequency that cancels the road noise out. The internal structure’s Jointless Band Technology, a spirally wrapped nylon cord, lowers the road vibrations felt by the passengers. The tire maintains its optimal shape under the driving pressure, and it is able of following the road surface closely. The combination of these two aspects offers a more enjoyable drive.
The SP Sport 7000 A/S is easily controlled. The Jointless Band Technology maintains the tire’s optimal shape, which boosts the steering responsiveness and accuracy and the driving stability and durability. As the tire does not deform under the driving pressure it is capable of quickly and precisely responding to the driver’s commands, while also stabilizing the tire against the driving pressure. The tread design’s independent shoulder tread blocks promote additional biting edges in all weather condition. This increases the cornering ability and power greatly and, with it, ensures a safer driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
