OVERVIEW
The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050+ is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
Summer traction is optimized with the tread design and the heat-resistant compound. The ideal tread design and the summer compound improve dry and wet grip. In this manner, the ideal tread design closely follows the road in the summer season, while the compound prevents heat build-up in warm temperatures. On the other hand, large circumferential grooves eliminate water from the footprint and prevent hydroplaning.
High speed performance is also guaranteed. The special heat-resistant compound elements and the better structural stability allow the tire to enhance its high speed capability. The reinforced compound elements prevent heat build-up along the tread area, minimizing the pressure affecting the tire. The structure does not allow the tire to deform under driving pressure. This greatly enhances the high speed driving experience.
The ideal tread design also increases the overall controllability. The better road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability, ensuring the driver’s better control over the vehicle. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire.
