OVERVIEW
The Duro DL6600 Frontier M/T is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire utilizes its aggressive tread design in order to upgrade the mud terrain traction. The staggered block placement and the high void ratio manage to enhance the soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. These tread elements upgrade the tire’s constant forward motion, greatly upgrading the deep mud and loose dirt traction. The tread also keeps the footprint clean at all times. They eliminate mud, snow, and rocks from the footprint. The tread elements do not allow mud and snow from blocking the surface contact, while avoiding stone retention from harming the casing.
The stabilized tread elements ensure the tire’s surface contact. These tread elements enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire is able to greatly upgrade the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The reinforced internal structure allows the tire to keep the optimal tire shape. As the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure, upgrading the overall load capacity.
The model promotes a longer lasting tread life. The stronger compound and the ribbed tread design enable the tire to improve usability. The durable compound elements allow the tire to improve the rubber flexibility, greatly slowing the overall treadwear rate down. The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
