The Hercules Avalanche XUV is a touring, winter tire made for SUVs.
This tire offers excellent winter-weather traction thanks to the detailed tread design and the winter compound. Their combination helps to increase the winter weather, ice, and snow traction. Thin-gauge sipes and the Snow Grabber Grooves generate biting edges, creating traction to improve its ice- and snow-covered road surface conditions. This also boosts snow-on-snow traction. Stronger rubber materials keep the tire pliable in freezing temperatures. Hydroplaning is avoided as zigzag circumferential grooves, which channel water and slush from below the footprint. The tread area is pinned for studs, which can be added to further boost traction.
