OVERVIEW
The Firestone Transforce CV2 is a highway terrain, all season tire designed for commercial vans and light trucks.
The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. The exceptional performance is guaranteed with the combination of the tread design and the all season compound. Dry, wet, and winter grip is ensured. The sipes along the tread generate biting edges, which boost traction. On the other hand, the compound keeps the tire pliable in various temperatures. Grooves prevent hydroplaning as they help guide water and slush through the footprint, further increasing the tire’s wet grip.
The tread design upgrades the controllability. The strengthened internal structure and the optimal footprint maintain surface contact at all times. This greatly upgrades the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. It promotes faster and more precise steering responses, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering and braking are enhanced as well. The optimal tread elements provide the traction and friction necessary to enhance its overall maneuvering.
Longer-lasting tread life is guaranteed with this tire. The optimal tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area. The special silica compound decreases the treadwear rate significantly. The slow and even wear offers a longer-lasting tread life. In other words, these elements resist irregular and premature wear formations, which enables the tire to perform, for a longer period of time.
The Firestone Transforce CV2 improves its load and driving durability. The tire’s reinforced internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure.
