For excellent traction in snow and ice is the directional tread pattern with tread blocks that are siped. For additional traction, you can opt for the metallic winter studs which create biting edges perfect for those challenging road surfaces. To enhance grip in loose snow are the independent tread blocks with high-density siping. The internal structure boasts twin steel belts above a casing made of polyester to further enhance the tire’s durability and performance. The Firestone Winterforce LT is branded with a snowflake-on-the-mountain symbol which means it has met the industry’s severe snow service requirements.
