OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Eagle RS-A is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
This tire has superb traction in dry, wet and winter weather. The unique tread pattern helps maintain an equal road grip in all weather conditions, making the tire safer to use. The sipes in the tread pattern help maintain the tire’s grip through varying road conditions, while the circumferential grooves eliminate water from beneath the footprint. The dispersion of water enables the tire to resist dangerous hydroplaning.
The asymmetric tread pattern enhances the tire’s steering responsiveness. The precise steering responsiveness makes this model easier to control in all weather. The better handling allows the driver to respond quickly to any arising situations during the drive. The shoulder tread pattern provides additional biting edges, increasing its cornering ability, grip and power. All of these improvements offer a safer driving experience.
The reinforced steel belts in the tire’s structure provide greater high speed durability. This enhances the tire’s performing ability, allowing better high speed stability and safety.
The Eagle RS-A also offers a quiet and comfortable drive. The special tread pattern increases the road-to-tire contact, which gives a larger area for the soundwaves to travel through. The soundwaves are guided through the tread grooves in a way that reduces the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
