OVERVIEW
The Grit Master GTM R/T 01 is a rugged terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks. Grit Master offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty.
The ideal tread design helps conquer rugged terrain with ease. The blocks use their biting edges to strongly grip uneven surfaces. The zigzag grooves and the open shoulders provide the self-cleaning ability. As such, the tire can propel itself through soft and loose terrains, preventing the vehicle from getting stuck. The scalloped shoulders also boost the forward motion, while the aggressive upper sidewall design enhances off-road performance. The notches on the central blocks improve mud grip.
The strong internal reinforcements increase the tire’s resistance against deformation under heavy loads. This is boosted by the radial construction, which strengthens the tire and enables even pressure distribution along the footprint. This prevents pressure build-up on the tread area and lowers the chance of flexing. As a result, the model can withstand greater loads without sacrificing its performance.
The specific placement of the blocks ensures continual surface contact. The open shoulders, with their big siped blocks, upgrade cornering. A large road-to-rubber ratio helps the tire put a greater contact patch on the driving surface, enhancing braking. The ideal tread pattern improves controllability and driving stability. It also delivers excellent steering response time to the driver’s commands.
The Grit Master GTM R/T 01 uses a particular compound that makes the tire flexible and drivable in hot and cold temperatures.
