OVERVIEW
The Hemisphere Aethon UHP is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Hemisphere offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire ensures a safe high speed performance. The tread design and heat-resistant compound work together to optimize the tire’s high speed safety. The tread pattern keeps the road contact at all times and evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread. This provides excellent high speed capability. The heat-resistant compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area, while the stronger construction maintains the ideal tire shape under pressure.
Consistent road contact enhances the tire’s overall controllability and driving stability. This, of course, increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands. The structural stability is maintained as well. The cornering and maneuvering ability is improved with the wide shoulder block placement and its siping detail. This combination guarantees exceptional high speed controllability.
The asymmetric tread design and the all season compound work together to promote safe all weather traction. The tread design maintains consistent road contact in dry, wet, and winter conditions. The all season compound protects the tire from deformation in versatile temperatures and keeps the rubber flexible at all times. Wide circumferential grooves protect the tire against slipping in wet conditions. The wide grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint and prevent hydroplaning.
The model guarantees longer-lasting tread life. The tread can evenly distribute driving pressure and slow the treadwear rate down in order to protect the tire from premature and irregular wear formations. This tread design and durable compound lengthen the tire’s service life and usability.
The Hemisphere Aethon UHP uses its special pitch variation design to ensure the tire’s better comfort levels. The tread design and the pitch variation sequence enable the tire to prevent sound wave formations, as they channel airwaves through the footprint. Thanks to the tread, the tire offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
