Ironman iMOVE Gen2 AS OVERVIEW The Ironman iMOVE Gen2 AS is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model has some touring sizes as well. Ironman offers a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design with the extra siping detail ensures a safer driving experience in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread design firmly grips the road surface in such conditions, while the circumferential and lateral grooves actively disperse water and slush from below the tire footprint. This prevents hydroplaning situations and ensures a safer driving experience in all weather.The special tread compound is more durable and wear resistant, slowing the tread wear rate down significantly. The tread life is further enhanced with the distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking across the tread area. The evenly spread out driving pressure avoids irregular wear patterns forming across the tread area. The longer lasting, even tread wear promotes an extended tread life and tire usability, making the model more cost efficient.The iMOVE Gen2 AS offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The enhanced tread block geometry prevents the road noise from being heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The tread blocks create a sound frequency that cancels out the road noise generated while the tires are in motion. This prevents the road noise from disturbing the comfort of the passengers during the drive, guaranteeing an enjoyable drive.Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
