OVERVIEW
The Ironman RB-12 NWS is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Ironman offers a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire offers excellent all season traction. The all season compound and detailed tread design, with the sipe placement, increase its dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. Durable compound elements optimize the tire’s rubber flexibility, enabling its summer and winter applications. The sipe and groove placement enables the tire’s grip on the road, by providing additional biting edges. The footprint features four circumferential grooves, dispersing water and slush from the footprint. As a result, hydroplaning is prevented.
Controllability and maneuvering are improved as well. The ribbed block placement enables the tire to enhance the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. The consistent road contact upgrades its steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured as well. The shoulder blocks provide additional biting edges, enabling the tire’s better cornering capability. As a result, the tire also boosts its braking power, by generating friction during stopping. These improvements ensure the driver has full control of the vehicle.
The RB-12 NWS upgrades high driving comfort levels. The tread design’s computer-optimized pattern decreases road noise generated while the tires are in motion. This pattern channels airwaves through the footprint, avoiding sound wave formations. The tire ensures a quiet and comfortable driving experience, as road and tread pattern noise do not reach the vehicle’s cabin.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
