The Kumho Eco Solus KL21 (OE) is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model is the original equipment tire of select vehicle models. The special all season tire compound promotes excellent all weather traction. The high dispersion silica compound and the superb tread pattern work together to enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The silica in the compound allows the tire to stay flexible even in the colder winter temperatures. The wide circumferential grooves effectively prevent dangerous hydroplaning situations by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint. The tread pattern features a variable pitch tread block sequence. This computer generated tread pattern creates a sound frequency that cancels the road noise out the moment it is generated while the tires are in motion. The lowered road noise levels ensure a quiet and comfortable driving experience by preventing the road noise from being heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The model’s internal structure features two full depth steel belts and a high density bead wire. They prevent the tire from deforming under the driving pressure and allow it to maintain its optimal tire shape at all times. In this manner, the tire follows the road surface closely which decrease the road vibrations felt by the passengers. The tire is extremely fuel efficient and environmentally friendly. The special tread rubber decreases its dust particle emission, which lowers the environmental pollution. The high dispersion silica compound and the Low Rolling Resistance Technology reduce the road contact and decrease the tire’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This is achieved by maintaining optimal road contact at all times and easing the driving pressure off the tire. The lower rolling resistance lowers the vehicle’s energy usage, making the tire more budget conscious. The Eco Solus KL21 (OE) offers excellent tread longevity and lower carbon footprint. The tire’s compound features anti-abrasion carbon black and high dispersion silica, which work together to slow the tread wear rate down. This also decreases the carbon footprint significantly, reducing the tire’s environmental pollution.
