OVERVIEW
The Milestar Grantland is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. It also has touring, passenger car sizes. Milestar offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty for this model.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The tread design with the angled siping design and the all season tire compound work together to improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from beneath the tire’s surface. The enhanced all weather traction and exceptional hydroplaning resistance improve the year round driving safety.
The tread pattern improves the model’s controllability and maneuvering. The continuous center ribs maintain constant road contact which boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire is stabilized against the driving pressure, while the steering becomes quick and precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands. The shoulder tread blocks increase the cornering and maneuvering ability and power by providing additional biting edges in all weather, for a more secure drive.
The Grantland’s internal structure features twin steel belts that enhance its durability. The steel belts maintain the tire’s optimal shape under the driving pressure affecting the tire. As the tire does not deform under the driving forces, it improves the model’s durability and performance. The tire also offers a longer lasting tread life. The internal structure and the durable ribbed shoulder tread design prevents irregular wear across the tread area. The resistance of uneven wear extends the tire’s usability and tread life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
