OVERVIEW
The Otani ST2000 is a highway terrain, all season tire created for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The particular tread design improves controllability. The detailed ribs and the shoulder design guarantee the tire’s surface traction, which results in optimized steering responsiveness and towing stability. As a result, the towing vehicle has more control over the trailer and promotes a quick and precise steering response. They also stabilize the structure against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The better road contact helps minimize the possibility of the trailer’s swaying during the vehicle’s performance.
The robust structure and the rubber compound increase the tire’s heavy-duty performance. The robust structural elements enable the tire to effectively upgrade its overall load-handling power. They make sure the tire does not deform under load and driving pressure. Since the tire maintains its ideal shape, it is able to upgrade the tire’s load capacity. This improved load durability is perfectly designed for heavy-duty applications.
The Otani ST2000 is able to handle versatile weather conditions. The tire provides great traction in dry, wet, and light winter conditions. This is achieved with the tread design and the durable compound. They work together to generate traction with extra biting edges and to keep the tire pliable throughout the year. Hydroplaning is resisted with the tread design that disperses water and slush from the footprint, further enhancing its performance on wet roads.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
