OVERVIEW
The Rovelo Arctic Vision RW01 is a touring, winter tire designed for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The directional tread design’s consistent road contact improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the symmetric, directional tread’s better road contact increases steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. The wide shoulder blocks utilize siping details and upgrade the model’s cornering and maneuvering. This combination ensures the driver’s full control over the vehicle and guarantees a safe performance.
This model is pinned for studs. Thanks to this close surface contact and the optimal tread design, the tire performs exceptionally well in winter, while the special compound keeps the rubber flexible in freezing temperatures. These elements work together to boost traction on ice- and snow-covered roads, improving the tire’s performance in severe winters. The optimized grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint. These grooves prevent slipping on wet roads.
The optimized tire footprint spreads driving pressure equally across the tread area. The even distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking prevents irregular wear across the tread area. Because of this, the ideal tread pattern resists uneven tread wear, increasing the tire’s driving stability. This combination greatly boosts the tire’s overall tread life.
The Rovelo Arctic Vision RW01’s tread block placement enables the tire to channel airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread elements. This way, the tread elements do not generate sound waves, guaranteeing a comfortable drive. As road disturbances do not ruin the passenger’s driving enjoyment, the model promotes a quiet performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
