OVERVIEW
The Sailun S740 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle’s drive axle.
The tire promotes excellent controllability. The optimal tread block placement increases the tire’s road contact, which boosts its steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. This enhances the control the driver has over the vehicle as it makes the tires more responsive to their instructions.
The symmetric tread design and all season tire compound upgrade the all weather traction. The tread design and the all season tire compound enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The special compound keeps the tire’s flexible traction, while the tread elements firmly grip the road surface all year. The tread’s circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The increased hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction ensure a safer driving experience.
The S740 guarantees a clean footprint at all times. The wide and wavy groove pattern upgrades the tire’s self-cleaning capability. This pattern eliminates mud and snow and ejects rocks stuck between the tread elements. As a result, the tire’s footprint is not blocked from its contact with the road surface and it prevents stone retention from harming the tire’s casing. The self-cleaning tread design guarantees a secure performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
