OVERVIEW
The Summit Ultramax A/S 2.0 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. It has some high performance sizes as well. Summit offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire promotes great year-round traction. The tread design and the all season compound boost dry, wet, and winter-weather grip on the road surface. The tread’s siping and notch placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexible in versatile temperatures. The groove pattern helps to prevent hydroplaning, by eliminating water and slush from the footprint. This significantly upgrades the model’s wet-weather driving safety levels.
The tread design’s consistent surface contact improves controllability. The tire greatly improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire ensures a quick and precise steering response, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block placement, with the ideal sipe detail, enhances cornering and maneuvering as well. This combination significantly improves the driver’s control over the vehicle, promoting a safer driving experience.
Lengthened usability is guaranteed. The optimal tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area. The special silica compound decreases the treadwear rate significantly.
