Transporter ST Radial
OVERVIEW
The Transporter ST Radial is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire’s controllability is also improved. The closer and better road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and towing stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle’s instructions, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Furthermore, the shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges to grip the road. This allows the tire to enhance its cornering and maneuvering, ensuring safer handling, as the tire guarantees a secure performance.
The all season performance is ensured with the ideal tread design and the all season compound. The tire provides great traction in dry, wet, and light winter conditions. This is achieved with the tread design and the durable compound. They work together to generate traction with extra biting edges and to keep the tire pliable throughout the year. Hydroplaning is resisted with the tread design that disperses water and slush from the footprint, further enhancing its performance on wet roads.
The Transporter ST Radial offers great load and driving durability. The tire’s reinforced internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. It enables the tire to safely carry and withstand heavy loads, which effectively upgrades its load capacity. In other words, the tire can securely perform during its heavy-duty applications.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
