OVERVIEW
The Waterfall Terra-X H/T is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. This model has some touring passenger sizes as well.
All season traction is improved with the compound and the tread design. This combination ensures great year-round weather grip, optimizing the dry, wet, and winter performance. The tread design with the sipe placement and the better road-to-rubber ratio allows the tire to increase the grip on the road surface. Heat resistance is ensured with the durable compound elements, which avoid heat build-up in warmer conditions while the compound also keeps the tire pliable throughout the year. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further upgrading the wet weather driving safety levels.
The tread elements help to upgrade the controllability. This enables the tire to increase the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire is able to enhance the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block pattern with the siping detail enables the tire to enhance the cornering ability and power, boosting the maneuvering capability. The better traction and the optimal surface contact generate friction at the moment of braking, reducing the braking distance. The combination of these elements ensures the driver’s better control over the vehicle at all times.
The Terra-X H/T also improves the length of the usability. The stronger compound elements and the ideal tread design work together to increase the service life. The compound elements prevent heat build-up, reducing the treadwear rate. On the other hand, the tread design’s even pressure circulation avoids irregular wear as well. The slow and even wear greatly enhances the overall tread life length.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
