The Winrun KF997 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the directional tread design work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The all season compound keeps its flexibility in all weather, while the detailed tread pattern finds good grip all year. The wide circumferential and swooping grooves effectively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The increased road grip and hydroplaning resistance ensure a secure all weather high speed performance. The directional tread design also guarantees exceptional high speed controllability. The tread features a solid center rib with curved edges, directional tread blocks in the center tread and large shoulder tread blocks. They ensure exceptional controllability by improving the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the tire’s structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it during the drive.
