Our BLACK+DECKER ENERGY STAR rated 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Inverter Technology is built for high-efficiency cooling and energy savings. Inverter technology uses a variable-speed compressor, rather than a fixed-speed compressor, to adjust according to room temperature. This provides a more consistent temperature, helps save energy, and reduces noise by avoiding the frequent on-and-off cycling of traditional air conditioners. Our AC unit for bedrooms includes a full-function remote control with LED display and Follow Me Function. This feature uses the remote as the thermostat, providing temperature readings from where you are for more precise cooling control. The window AC unit also has electronic controls with a digital display and an adjustable thermostat from 60°F (16°C) to 86°F (30°C), with Fahrenheit and Celsius readouts. Choose from Auto, Cool, Dry, and Fan modes. Fan mode includes Auto, Low, Medium, and High speeds. Auto mode selects cooling or fan-only operation based on the selected and room temperatures. The FLASHCOOL function provides maximum cooling at high speed to reach the set temperature quickly. A timer automatically turns the unit on or off from 30 minutes to 24 hours, while ECO mode and Sleep function support energy-efficient operation. Designed for wood or vinyl-clad windows 23” to 36” wide. Includes a washable, removable filter, R-32 refrigerant, and an LCDI-protected 78” 3-prong power cord. The window installation kit includes accordion-style side panels, foam insulation strips, foam seal weather stripping, and hardware.
