Bridgestone offers a 65,000 mile warranty with this tire model. The tire compound and the tread pattern offer excellent all weather traction and the tire grips the road well in dry, wet and even in light winter conditions. The tread design also makes the tire safer to use in wet weather conditions, as the wide circumferential grooves help eliminate water from below the tire footprint, effectively resisting hydroplaning. The tire is safer to use all year thanks to these features. The tires lighter weight and better road gripping ability reduce the rolling resistance of the tire. The rolling resistance is further decreased with the NanoPro-Tech tire compound, which is a trademark of Bridgestones Ecopia models. The lessened rolling resistance is the result of the combination of the compound and the tires lighter weight which provide better fuel economy. The fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions of the vehicle are lowered, making the tire environmentally friendly and economic for the driver. The reinforced tire compound and the tires strengthened internal construction enhance the tires tread life. The tire is resistant to accidental punctures and other damages, such as chipping, cracking and tearing. The driving pressure is also equally distributed along the tread area, which prevents uneven wear. The longer lasting tread life makes the tire more cost-efficient. The Ecopia EP422 maintains its shape even during high speed driving. The tire does not deform under the driving pressure. Its maintained shape and its superb high speed stability are the result of the spiral warp reinforced structure of the model.
