Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS+ 275/35R18 95W OVERVIEW Bridgestone took the proven design of the Potenza RE980AS and improved on it with the Potenza RE980AS+ tire. The Potenza RE980AS+ uses the same advanced tread formulation, all-season asymmetric tread pattern with interlocking sipes, chamfered slots, and circumferential grooves, and enhanced it with three polyester sidewall plies for extra stiffness. Additionally, the Potenza RE980AS+ features two polyester plies, steel belts, and a spiral-wrapped nylon cap in the subtread plus a tread pattern that’s computer-tuned for low road noise. Additionally, the Potenza RE980AS+ is backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life.
