Featuring a heavy-duty 5 HP TOPS motor, (thermal overload protection system) protecting the motor from voltage fluctuations. Along with the cast iron patented pump and piston design that provide a cooler running machine while maintaining consistent compression efficiency, it has 175 maximum PSI to operate a wide range of tools while maintaining longer run times. It also features patented deep-grove directional and asymmetrical cooling fins and patented cast-iron flywheel design with large extended fins for improved cooling and low-pump RPM. Dewalt compressors are jobsite tough, and built for the professional.
