OVERVIEW
The Farroad FRD26 is a performance and high performance, depending on the speed index of the specific tire size, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. It has some touring sizes available too.
The tire offers great controllability. The optimal tread design features three center ribs and closed shoulder patterns that closely follows the road surface at all times. This increases the model’s steering responsiveness and driving stability significantly, even at high speed performance. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tires. The closed shoulder pattern keeps the tire’s road contact constantly, heightening the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during cornering and maneuvering.
The tread design and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The asymmetric tread design with the willow-shaped biometric blocks enhances the tire’s gripping ability throughout the year, while the special all season compound maintains the tire’s flexible traction even in colder temperature winter conditions. The tread features wide circumferential grooves that disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. In this manner, the tire ensures a secure year round high speed performance.
The FRD26 offers a quiet drive. The tread design’s closed shoulder pattern prevents the formation of road and tread pattern noise. They do not allow the airwaves to enter the tire’s footprint and come into contact with the tread elements. As a result, the road and tread pattern noise are not created while the tires are in motion. The road noise is not heard in the vehicle’s cabin, which guarantees a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
