OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Eagle Sport is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles.
This model offers great summer weather traction. The summer compound and the ribbed tread design work together to upgrade the model’s dry and wet weather grip. The summer compound prevents the heat build-up during hot summer temperatures, while the tread firmly grips the road surface. The four circumferential grooves help to prevent hydroplaning, by dispersing water from the tread area. This tread design improves the tire’s road contact during wet weather conditions.
This model promotes excellent controllability. The tread design’s road contact enhances the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. This enables the driver’s secure control over the vehicle and the tire’s exceptional handling. The wide block patterns upgrade the tire’s cornering power, as additional biting edges are provided. The Eagle Sport’s balanced pressure distribution improves the cornering and braking abilities. The optimized rubber composition and reinforced construction strengthened the tire which promoted excellent performance and better control over the vehicle at all times.
The Goodyear Eagle Sport also guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience. This tire uses the SoundComfort Technology to decrease road noise levels heard during the drive. This technology upgrades the tread pattern, in order to offer a quiet ride. Thanks to the asymmetric tread design and the SoundComfort Technology road noise levels are reduced to a minimum while the tires are in motion.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
