The Headway HR802 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for light trucks and SUVs. This model has some touring, passenger sizes available as well.
The tire’s controllability is also improved. The tire helps to enhance steering responsiveness, driving stability, and maneuvering. This is achieved with the symmetric tread’s road contact. In this manner, the model boosts steering responses and accuracy to the driver’s commands. It also secures the stability throughout the performance. The sipe and groove pattern generate friction, significantly shortening the braking distance. Cornering is enhanced as well, thanks to the optimal shoulder block pattern.
This tread design and the rubber compound ensure a quiet performance. This tread design and its constant contact with the driving surface reduce road and tread noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The footprint channels airwaves throughout the footprint, preventing them from coming into contact with tread elements. This enables the passengers to enjoy a quiet performance by resisting sound wave formations.
The Headway HR802 promotes great all weather traction. This exceptional performance is guaranteed with the combination of the tread design and the all season compound. Dry, wet, and winter grip is ensured. The sipes along the tread generate biting edges, which boost traction. On the other hand, the compound keeps the tire pliable in various temperatures. Grooves prevent hydroplaning as they help guide water and slush through the footprint, further increasing the tire’s wet grip.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
